Coco Chanel
 
Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel was born 19 August 1883.
She was a French fashion designer and based her own fashion house Chanel.
  Coco Chanel always kept the clothing she designed simple, comfortable and revealing. She often used materials that considered a bad fabric, such as jersey.
Coco Chanel began her career in running a successful hat shop. At a time when hats were extravagant and lavish, the contrast was great when Coco launched small and simple hats, without lots of details.
  She was also the one who created the "sporty" look for women and she made it nice to be sunburned.
  Coco also made the fabric tweed popular by creating the classic Chanel suit. A skirt that goes down to the knees, and a jacket. She also created the Chanel quilted bag 2:55 which still represents Chanel. The bag was launched in February 1955, hence the name.
   Coco died 10 January 1971 and since 1983, Karl Lagerfeld has been chief designer and operates today the successful fashion house.

 Chanel's famous sign, two large C that overlaps, represents her nickname and her last name Coco Chanel.

The High Fashion in Japan is extreme as all the other styles. Right now it is popular with alot of structure. The clothes are often in layers and origami inspired. It is also popular with big collars. One of the big designers in Japan is Yohoji Yamamoto his newest collection is alot of black but also very intresting patterns.

at wednsday Emma, Malin and Mimmi atended to the lesson. We worked on our posts. Mimmi was going to post hers yesterday but her computer did not work so we hope that it will come soon.

Today we will try to write Ellinors post but we might have some trubble make it in time.

Kate Moss is the world's best-dressed woman.
She is always dressed right and can get the most boring garment to look glamorous. Kate Moss is very good at breaking all fashion trends, she wears mostly what nobody expects her to, but it always goes right. Kate uses clothing as in normal cases shouldn't be in the same outfit. Kate Moss is rarely shopping in chain stores, besides her own clothing line for Topshop. When she was a teenager she used to shop cashmere sweaters at second hand, nightwear in silk from the 30's and personalized 40th century garments from markets. Real design finds can still be found as vintage. Kate chooses classic design that never goes out of time, she rarely wear patterns that apply for just one season. Kate moss is pretty short and small, and therefore many garments are loose on her. Therefore she sews on her clothes. Then it look likes all her clothes just is made for her and nobody else.

For Kate it has never been just fashion, she have her own style and maybe that's why she is so successful.

This fall is very dark, and the color black is showed everywhere. You can be black from head to toe and jet dont be boring. You just mix different materials and add some hot accessories. Velvet, skin, suede and knitwear are just a few modern materials this fall.
This fashion breathes a bit of future and it´s quite extrem, definitely not for everyone. Many peoples probably wolud say things like: Oh my god, I would so never wear that. Or: She looks ugly. But as always in fashion, people have different styles. And fashion is not always pretty, maybe it´s ugly but jet it´s fashion! This trend is, as I said, not for everyone. It´s probably to extrem, to dark, to raw and to protruding. All people in this world do not want to "pop out", they dont want people to turn around and watch.

A person who´s not afraid what other people thinks is Lady GaGa her self. She has totally grabbed this style and maid it hers, and who of us can honestly say that we never heard of her extrem outfits. Of course her outfits are even more extrem than what i´m going to show, but i think everyday- and regular party fashion. She goes to this big Galas, she´s doing music videos and is a celebirty. But for this style she´s definitly a role model.

But for us "regular people" this kind of clothes may be a bit to much for the everday where. But then I have found some clothes that will look awesome and that you can where everyday, and jet not look boring. People will still look at you, but not because you are "to much", but because you are modern. You will send out signals of confidense and you will draw peoples attension on you. Do you love to be in the spotlight? And you like fashion? And probably the most important question, do you love black? Then this style is for you!

Hime lolita is a very princesslike style. You often look very fancy. The most important is the dress and of course you must have a crown or a tiara. The dress is often very cute and looks a lot like the ones princesses have in storys. The skirt is bell-shaped and the balance between the skirt and the top is very important. just like most of the japanese fashion styles it is a bit over the top and extreme. The makeup and the hair is also importent, it must be so princesslike as it can.
